CEAapril2010.jpgCIPS students throughout  Southern Africa can now sit their CIPS exams at Commerce Edge Academy’s (CEA’s) exam centre, Andrew Hillman, Director of CEA, tells SmartProcurement.

The examination centre is located in Parktown, Johannesburg and has a capacity of 30 students per sitting.

Both Commerce Edge Academy students and external CIPS students may sit their CIPS examinations at the centre, says Hillman.

May 2010 CIPS examinations will be held during the week of 17 to 21 May 2010. Morning exams start at 09:30 sharp and afternoon exams start at 14:00 sharp.

To book an examination, students must have submitted examination entry forms to CIPS by mid March 2010. These are external examinations, and provided that the individual is a registered student member of CIPS, they can submit examination enrolment forms for as many, or as few, subjects as they wish. The only restriction is the examination timetable itself, which cannot be varied.

CEAclassroomApril2010.JPGCIPS students who wish to sit examinations at Commerce Edge Academy’s examination centre and who have already enrolled for CIPS examinations should contact CIPS directly at assessment.team@cips.org to inform them of their desire to write examinations at Commerce Edge Academy’s Examination centre and to ensure that they are booked for the examination time and date of their choice at the centre, advises Hillman
